Green spaces, including WILLIE HENDERSON SPORTS COMPLEX and Southcrest Community Park, are very well-spread out and there are approximately 10 of them nearby for residents to relax in, which results in them being easy to reach from numerous locations within this part of the city. Lastly, this neighborhood has many sections that are very serene and quiet; however other spots can be noisy, especially closer to the railway line, Escondido Freeway or Martin Luther King Jr Freeway.
